Returning Back to the Page

After my last post, I had no idea where I wanted my writing—or my blog—to go.

I had set out on a year-long journey to heal, to find myself, and to live a more balanced and simpler life—as much as I can while being a mom, a wife, and everything else.

I spent the last two months or so reflecting on myself.

Really asking, Who am I?

I thought about how much I’ve healed and grown in the last year, and how much I still need to.

I looked back behind me and saw all the missteps, the falls, the trips, and the paths I’ve taken to get to where I am now.

In hindsight, I didn’t do it perfectly.

Not that I was trying to.

But I did it.

All of it.

And I can learn from those moments in my past.

I can put the extra weight down if I want to, or I can keep carrying it.

It’s my choice.

Returning to the Page

So, after some much-needed time away from this space, I’m back.

I’m back to write about what’s next for me.

What’s on my mind.

What’s going on.

I spent the last year writing about my journey back home to myself through healing, balancing, and simplifying.

Now, I’m ready to write from home—

who I am and what I notice in life.

Thoughts.

People.

Places.

And everything in between.

I hope you’ll take the next steps with me into this next chapter of my writing.
